Playing catch up

The weather here continues to be amazing and we are soaking up every ounce of sunshine we can get. Of course, the day I am to go on a field trip to the pumpkin farm with BigE, rains and wind are in the forecast.... but thankfully the rain held off while we were out there, and the kids had a BLAST! 

Sunday afternoon was spent coaching Bubba in his first game.  We only had two practices prior but we played pretty darn good for our first game and came away with a V-I-C-T-O-R-Y....Good Job boys!

 Ah yes, the laundromat where I spent some time this weekend. Our washer went kaput and we are trying to fix it..waiting on a part, and then if that doesn't work out with the not so old but apprently not that durable washer...and we will hopefully find a newer but still get a good deal washer...

Tis that time of year for carving pumpkins and per our yearly tradition my sister,neice, and brother in law came over and we carved till our little hands were cramped and tired...

And we dehydrated some seeds....recipes to come..


Lastly, before I go, I am asking for prayers.  My husbands cousin was in a terrible car accident last week and suffered severe brain injuries.  The MRI tests that came back were disappointing  and she is asking for prayer warriors to provide healing and comfort at this time.  Our family would be ever so grateful.
