Dad's weekend away and recap

What a great weekend we had here...

Hubby was fishing with some friends in Wisconsin so he wasn't even here for us to spoil him on Father's Day....I would say a weekend away is sufficient

Let's recap shall we:

Friday night baseball, we got our game in before the rain

 Saturday morning wake up call #TurboFire

 Refueling....2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs and some guacamole

 Morning shopping trip with stink eye sister #2 and a stop at Chik-Fil A for the boys

 We got a new helmet for Bubba since he is a bike riding fool now, and Big E got the hand me down...he wore it the majority of the weekend....

 Saturday night we enjoyed a grill out at my brother and sister in laws house.  The weather/rain stayed away and we enjoyed a beautiful night with great friends and great food....

 I forgot my shoes at home or I would of shown these boys a thing or two on how to play basketball....:)

 Sunday was Kodiak cake pancakes on the porch.....the boys loved them!

 Big E is such a ham!!!

 After we fueled up at breakfast it was time to give the new helmet a test drive so we headed in to the park...
our house is about 2 miles from the park so it is any easy jaunt in once you get off the 1/4 mile uphill of gravel road....

And lastly, Sunday was spent working around the house, in the house, playing on the trampoline, weeding the garden, and visiting Great Grandpa George for Father's Day...

See that jumprope...not Bubba's area of expertise, but I tell you what...when we got there, he started practicing....it was a disaster but that boy did not stop practicing that whole time and by the time we left he had strung together 6 consecutive jumps....

I told him to take a breather,  but he is so like me, once we start we don't stop till we get it right....
