Competitive Nature

Before I being my post I just want to say a prayer for the families of the participants and spectators who were killed and injured at the Boston Marathon when someone viciously planted bombs at the finish line. I am having such a hard time wrapping my mind around why anyone would do such a thing, again.....why are people so cruel, why do we hurt each other? I pray that we find those responsible and that justice will be served.

Got a great workout in this morning at class...
PolarFT40 watch, nike capris, underarmour shirt, reebok #realflex shoes

A yummy breakfast of 2 egg whites, 1 egg, and Kirkland Mulitgrain bread with organic jam
A little Kombucha for the commute to work
It was out war monthly lunch outing for work and this month's choice was Wildwood's Smokehouse and Saloon.    I got a brisket basket with sweet potato tots and it was soooo gooood.  This place also has some fantastic entertainment on the weekends.

I forgot to take a picture of supper since it was a throw together, eat really quickly, and head into soccer kind of meal.  Spaghetti Squash Marinara with ground beef.  I am bringing some for lunch tomorrow so I will take a picture then and post the recipe. It is very simple.

Soccer was not as cold as it has been previously, but it was quite muddy. Bubba did great, but as a parent/coach I really have to remember to "take it easy" on my kid.  I have always been competitive, we all know that , and I catch myself putting pressure on him to "be the best" "score the goals".....I mean, my gosh, he is in Kindergarten....I really need to take a chill pill.

I am working on it......in this aspect I will always be a work in progress.  Nevertheless, he always knows how proud I am of him and how he played and how much I love him.

Are you competitive? Do you coach your kids teams?
