What we're growing in the basement

It's getting to be about that time...GARDENING season....and we are have things a-growin up in here...err down in the basement... my hubby has crossed over to the dark side...he made this contraption to house more plants, to produce more light..he's a madman on a mission..which is fine with me, more veggies for me...

 

This day was busy from the moment I woke up till now 9:32 p.m.   

I started out my day with a great workout at the rec

AMRAP's, Sprints, Strength...

Reebok #crossfit tank, Reebok #realflex shoes, UnderArmour capris 

Workout, cleaned up, and then headed to work

After work, headed straight home to pick up Bubba for our first soccer practice....it was freezing and soggy..but we ran around and at least kicked the soccer ball...

 

After soccer, the boys and Kyle went to his my in-laws for a little egg decorating

 I went and played volleyball in a fundraiser tournament

at the highschool...

against a bunch of schoolers...

saw things I won't soon forget.....

and felt really old.......

and we came away with the CHAMPIONSHIP..

And now I am trying to wind down after playing volleyball by watching the Iowa Women's Basketball team play Notre Dame in the NCAA tournament....

I am not doing too bad despite some upsets.

P.S.  I learned a lesson tonight...do not play volleyball in your lululemon capris..especially when you know you will be diving for the ball...
