Thankful for.....

I have been surrounded by some negativity lately, from others, and from myself toward myself and I had to step back a moment, kick my own ass, and think of how much I have accomplished...

this blog, while it may not reach tens of thousands of people and  it may not be life altering...deep thinking content,  is helping others become healthy and active and that is my sole purpose....

bearing two children, and slowly very slowly(much to my impatience) regaining my body back better than before I was pregnant....

I have committed to something that I have always wanted to do and have been "training" for it, but I have not posted it yet on here because I fear the judging and the "eye rolling" I know I shouldn't care but it's still in the back of my mind....

So with all that being said, I am doing a " I am THANKFUL" post because last weekend my cup runneth over with family and friends and lots of thankfulness....

Thankful for friends who come over to celebrate at the "B getting his stitches out and can swim again" party

Thankful for the person who brought almonds and raisins to the ladies golf tournament, it was so hot and I had no appetite and these were perfect.....and thankful for GREAT friends to golf with that sink 100 yard out chip ins...YEAH AMY!!!!!

Thankful for cousins who have baby cousins, so generation after generation can play and have as much fun as we did growing up!

Thankful for cheap finds on the internet.....got our money's worth out of this pool!
Thankful for garden fresh vegetables that can be used for delicious recipes such as this.

  2. I like this a LOT and appreciate your honesty. . .negativity from others (and ourselves) is so insanely powerful. . .but it definitely deserves a good ass-kickin'!

    1. Thanks Monica! It is amazing how much negative can outshine the positive...so backwards but the ass kicking always brings it back in check. Thanks for reading!
