Weekend Recap

Wow, weekends go by so fast, and are so much fun, especially holiday weekends with family and friends.  We had a ton of things planned this weekend and the weather cooperated for the most part!  

Kyle and I had a birthday party for a friend, at a "grill your own steak" place(no pictures, too busy having fun) but Bryson and Eli had a babysitter who Bryson adored and wanted to send her a thank you via text. 

 

The next morning we had our 5k/1 mile fun run race for the whole family.  This race raises money for Bryson's school so we are always happy to participate and contribute! Read about the race recap here and how I was one proud mama!

 

Post race.... a visit to the Easter Bunny.  I really thought Eli would hate the GINORMOUS rabbit this year since he is older but he LOVED it....did not want to leave rabbit, wanted to play with rabbit all day....

 

Sunday morning Sunrise Service.  Everyone up and at em by 5:30 so we could go to church at 6:30a.m.  The boys were so great and we just love hearing the story of Christ arising.  He has Risen...he has Risen indeed......

 We spent most of the day Easter with Kyle's family, enjoying good company, good fun, and good food....
